App sandbox

Every application shared in JumpRoom runs in a separate sandboxed container. Apps are only given the minimum permissions required to run. This protects both the room and clients from malicous activity.

Client separation

All network communications with the outside world are blocked from the client to provide a safe proxy. The only data passed back and forth between the client web application and JumpRoom is the visual representation of what’s being shared.

Dedicated dynamic compute

Each room runs in its own dynamic virtual machine in the cloud. None of your communication or sharing will ever touch another customer's instance. We assign a new server each time a room is started to limit tracking.


Data and encryption

Your data and its safety are vital to your organization. JumpRoom secures your corporate data with end-to-end encryption.

HTTPS encryption

JumpRoom encrypts network traffic between clients and hosts with HTTPS using SSL/TLS 1.2. Every HTTP and real-time websocket message sent to and from our servers is encrypted.

Data security

Each room has a dedicated cloud drive for storage of user artifacts and other media. The drive file system is encrypted at rest and mounted using encryption of data in transit.

Infrastructure

Your team’s data, communications, and artifacts are hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers. Data centers have 24x7 monitoring and video surveillance.
