Are you an aspiring Front-End developer with JavaScript or backend experience looking to learn Angular? Join JumpRoom CEO, Jeff Cole for a live streamed classes all through the month of January.
In the first ever JumpRoom Live-Stream class, Jeff will be covering everything you'll need to know to create your first Angular Project along with hand-on exercises to follow work through indepently or as teams in JumpRoom.
For students who wish to test their knowledge at the end of the class, Jeff will be providing one-on-one assesments covering all the topics covered throughout the month.
This class is intended for anyone with a background in JavaScript or backend development that wants to learn how to use Angular as their frontend framework. It's helpful to have some experience with TypeScript already but we'll be going over some of the basics early on in the class. All labs will be provided through JumpRoom so there's no need for a local development environment.
We will be following along with the book Learning Angular by Aristeidis Bampakos and Pablo Deeleman.
To keep up, you'll need to cover roughly a chapter per day of class. If you'd like to follow along in the book but can't afford to purchase it yourself, please reach out directly via our discord channel as I have some donated funds to help offset costs.
We'll be providing weekly labs that can be performed solo or as teams within JumpRoom. The only requirement to perform the labs will be registering for a JumpRoom account. To register for a JumpRoom account simply head over to JumpRoom.io and click the "Try JumpRoom" button.
These classes will be available for everyone to watch live on the JumpRoom Twitch Channel during the times specified.
Up to 7 students who have signed our release form may join the class live in a JumpRoom with Jeff through lectures and ask questions.
It's one thing to sit through a class - it's an entirely different bag of donuts to fully understand the material taught. That's why Jeff is offering one-on-one personalized assessments.
At the end of the class students will have the opportunity to receive a 30min assessment from Jeff around the source materials to measure learning. This quiz will cover all of the topics from the class in an ad-hoc format. Learners will be expected to explain and write sample code expressing every concept.
